Coparenting in Captivity comic #13: "Why'd your ex cross the road?" (dad’s point of view)

#13

"Why'd your ex cross the road?"

"I told her it was a boundary." 🚧

The word "boundary" has done a lot of heavy lifting in high-conflict coparenting. Sometimes it means a healthy, necessary limit that protects your peace. Sometimes it means... anything you don't feel like doing.

Real boundaries aren't about controlling where someone else goes. They're about deciding what YOU will and won't engage with. You can't set a boundary around another person's behavior — only your own response to it.

But as a punchline? Undefeated.

Have you ever watched someone use "boundaries" in a creative way? 😅
