"She sent me TWELVE notes during lunch!"
"Jenny, you both agreed to limit lunchtime messages to essential information. Please follow the order."
"But they were all important."
There it is. 📝
In high-conflict coparenting, the definition of "essential" can get very elastic. The lunch menu. A question about socks. A reminder about the reminder about the form. A follow-up to the follow-up. All of it, apparently, essential.
Twelve messages at lunch is not a communication style. It's a strategy. And the judge knows it. ⚖️
